Job Description

- Coordinates and schedules all known appointments for the patient doing Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) which includes in vitro fertilization (IVF), egg freezing, frozen blast transfer, egg donation, embryo donation, gestational carrier and fertility preservation. This includes approximately 650-750 cycles per year.
- This will include coordinating the patient plan of care, procedures, medications, appointments etc. including scheduling all pre-procedure tests that need to be completed.
- Follows up to see if all required testing is completed prior to scheduled procedure(s).
- Coordinate the ordering of prescriptions with our in-clinic pharmacy team and confirms delivery of medications with the patient.
- Establishes a professional relationship with patients by communicating the plan of care frequently with them either by phone, MyChart communication, or virtual visits.
- Answers phone calls, voice messages, and MyChart messages timely.
- Orders routine lab work, medications, and hormones per physician and/or insurance company protocols, and follows up on the results.
- Ensure that all necessary appointments and testing are done in a timely manner for third party reproduction to meet the FDA guidelines.
- Collaborating with and serving as a patient liaison between the patients, physicians, consulting specialists, and laboratory personnel (both the embryologists and the Endocrine/Andrology laboratory) onsite.
- Assessing patient conditions, monitoring behaviors and updating supervising physicians with observations and concerns
- Completing the necessary components in Epic for ART treatment including episodes of care, REI cycle specifics and checklists.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or three years’ experience working with infertility patients.
Experience: Experience with Excel and Word are required.

100% remote position (training is required in person)
Monday-Friday 7:30-4:30 Central time; Weekends as needed
