  This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Java Developer Intern in Mississauga with Signify. Full time role starting from January and ending in April 2025.

  Cooper Lighting Solutions is a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.

  • Collaborate with product owners to understand requirements

  • Develop and update features with the enterprise backend team

  • Integrate with UI and other components

  • Work as a team to ensure quality testing and delivery

  • Adhere to agile development process and methodologies

  More about you

  While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

  • Currently enrolled in College or University, preferably in Engineering Technology or Computer Science

  • Proficiency in microservices and Spring Boot framework

  • Experience with databases and SQL queries

  • Knowledge or experience with messaging queues

  • Understanding of REST APIs and UI/Client integration

  • Familiarity with Agile process and SDLC

  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure is an asset.
