      Overview

      The Rates & Credit Dealer-to-Client eTrading platform is used daily by Deutsche Bank Fixed Income Traders Globally. The system provides Deutsche Bank’s liquidity on Rates &Credit financial products to 10+ world's biggest multi-dealer platforms, receives and handle clients’ trading requests to execute trades, capture and service the trades through their sometimes 50year life cycle. Product range is wide - starting from Bonds, extending to REPO, Interest Rate Swap (RS), Credit Default Swaps (CDS) and ending with Exotic Portfolios and we deal with complex financial products, build these systems, and keep traceability and recoverability in mind. Wide diversity of products allows to see different styles of processing but also requires technology expertise to find reuse opportunities between various processing flows and products. As a Senior quality assurance (QA) Engineer (m/f/x) you will be managing quality of one of our next generation platforms for Rates & Credit Trading.

      What You’ll Do

      • Work with end users, Referat Bankenaufsicht der BaFin (BAs), QAs, User Experience (UX), dev teams and project managers on requirements, test design and test-planning

      • Perform exploratory, functional, regression, performance, and usability testing

      • Design and develop automated tests, conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Testing with end users

      • Plan and maintain Testing & UAT environments, assistance in UAT testing, work with peer teams to organize and perform integration testing

      • L3 Production Support

      Skills You’ll Need

      • In-depth experience of QA, preferably in distributed concurrent systems

      • Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL)

      • Experience organizing and performing integration testing across multiple systems

      • Expertise with java-based QA automation technologies for backend test automation

      • Basic knowledge of core Java

      Skills That Will Help You Excel

      • Knowledge of Linux

      • Experience in release management and coordination of product delivery

      • Experience working within the financial industry technology

      • Understanding of Investment Banking financial products and associated trading workflows/platforms

      • Experience working in Scrum/other Agile methodology setup

      Expectations

      It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

      The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
