Job Description

- Conduct in-person research under the guidance of a mentor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
- Attend and participate in regular lab meetings, seminars and journal clubs.
- Present findings from research at scientific conferences and workshops held virtually or in-person.
- Actively pursuing High School Diploma
- Acceptance into the JHIBS summer program.
- Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond HS Diploma/Graduation Equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
The Department of Neurology is seeking a JHIBS Summer Research Scholar to participate in a summer research mentoring program hosted by the Johns Hopkins Internship in Brain Sciences (JHIBS) program in the Department of Neurology. Participants will conduct a short-term mentored research project in a laboratory or clinical research setting. Interns will give a poster and oral presentation on their research experiences at the mid-point or end of the program.
