      Apprentice/Journeyman Electrician – Commercial Construction

      Austin, TX

      Job Details

      • Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM – 3:30/4:00 PM (OT available)
      • Pay: $24-35/hr DOE

      We are hiring Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians to support high-rise commercial projects in Austin and surrounding areas. If you're looking to grow your skills with a company that values teamwork, safety, and craftsmanship — this is your opportunity.

      What You’ll Do

      • Daily Task: Pull 200' of ¾" EMT conduit through a high-rise building
      • Installation: Install wiring, electrical panels, switchgear, and lighting fixtures
      • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently
      • Repair: Troubleshoot and repair faulty wiring, equipment, and fixtures
      • Troubleshooting: Use testing devices (multimeters, meggers, circuit tracers) to identify and resolve issues
      • Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical diagrams and blueprints to guide installations
      • Code Compliance: Ensure all work meets electrical codes and safety regulations
      • Voltage Work: Handle both low voltage (24VDC) and high voltage (480VAC) systems
      • Conduit Work: Bend, thread, and install conduit to protect wiring
      • Wire Pulling & Termination: Pull wire through conduit and terminate wiring neatly and accurately

      ✅What You’ll Need

      • 2+ years of commercial electrical experience
      • Proficiency in conduit bending, wire pulling, and blueprint reading
      • Your own tools (clippers, cordless drill, tape measure, etc.)
      • Full PPE: hard hat, vest, gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed boots

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $89440.00 - $93600.00/yr.
