Job Title: Job Captain

Job Description

An architecture and design firm is seeking an experienced Job Captain to join their retail team. This role involves supporting design development, construction documents, and construction administration under the general supervision of a project manager.

Responsibilities

• Support design development, construction documents, and construction administration.
• Collaborate with the retail team on high-end food and beverage projects.
• Utilize Revit for design and documentation, ensuring consistent use over the past year.
• Participate in base building and exterior detailing.
• Ensure projects adhere to building systems, codes, and ADA requirements.

Essential Skills

• Graduate of an Architecture or design school.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in commercial interior architecture, particularly in retail.
• Proficiency in Revit with the ability to produce construction documents from concept to completion.
• Experience in high-end food and beverage style projects.
• Familiarity with core and shell or ground-up projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture and a minimum of 2-6 years of experience at an architecture firm in the US.
• Working knowledge of design principles, aesthetics, and space planning methodology.
• Familiarity with furnishings, finishes, and intermediate sketching and rendering skills.
• Knowledge of contract administration, path of travel requirements, and commitment to project support.

Work Environment

This position offers a fully remote work environment, with studios available for those preferring a hybrid or in-person setup. The typical work week is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility in work hours. The firm collaborates with globally recognized brands to create relaxing, productive, and rejuvenating spaces and has offices in 24 cities across the US.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $37.00/hr.
