Description
Welcome to TAC! An incredibly creative and cutting-edge music program. We are seeking qualified applicants to teach the following course in fall/spring 2024-25
This course is a practice-based deep dive into the fundamental principles of programming techniques for musicians, with special consideration given to applications in sound design, instrument building, physical control, and interactive performance. TAC 310 uses Max/MSP for its programming language and toolkit; this is a studio music course in programming, in which the objective is music composition and performance, but the medium is student-written software.
This course runs from the week of September 3rd to December 16th
The courses will be taught in-person on Tuesdays 12:30-2:20
