About the position
This position is designed to give Jobs in the Park participants their first employment experience in customer service and operations of a busy outdoor water park.
Position is seasonal, from May - September 2024. Typical schedule is 10 - 40 hours per week which includes day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. 1. Deck Crew responsibilities:• Keep concession deck and tables meticulously clean and free of trash, spills and general messes.• Spot clean each table after customer use.• Use deck hose on all spills.• Keep trash receptacles clean and open for trash. Remove bags when full and replace with new trash bags. Take trash to dumpster.• Rotate condiments every two hours or sooner if needed, and keep napkin holders full.• Pick-up all trash in and around concession deck area, around skate park, parking lots, entrance, picnic areas and facilities.• Hose down concession deck area (power wash if assigned) each night after concessions close at 7pm if assigned to Wolfe Park Crew.• Notify front desk staff of any maintenance issues, facility damage or graffiti.• Assist with park plantings, grounds maintenance and garden weeding when directed.
2. Pool Monitor responsibilities:• Assist with crowd control on pool deck and locker rooms.• Pick up trash, check for maintenance problems, and perform custodial work to ensure cleanliness and safety of pool and locker rooms.• Set up and take down tubes, umbrellas, deck chairs and other related items daily.• Maintain lost and found articles and items.About the company
