      The GIS Analyst will be responsible for processing and converting raw data collected from high definition lake surveys, digital maps, paper maps and other sources to a proprietary software format, with a high standard of accuracy and precision. The GIS Analyst will also:

      · Create, design and implement new lake data sources/databases for applicable market areas.

      · Work to help develop new methods of representing data.

      · Develop and recommend standards for GIS data development and cartography.

      · Assist in beta-testing, quality control, and quality assurance of the digital GPS product line.

      · Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications and GIS software, hardware, and data inputs.

      · Demonstrate solid understanding of geographic concepts, applications and systems.

      · Possess skills in capturing, organizing, analyzing and displaying geographically referenced information in an easily understood format as well as skills in creating interactive queries, analyze spatial information, edit data in maps and present the results.

      Experience

      Required 2 years

      Two years of experience in Geometrics, Geographic Information Systems, Geology or equivalent.
