      About the Role: Part-Time Host Position at the Lark's Restaurant at Ashland Springs Hotel

      As a Host at Ashland Springs F&B, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring that their experience is both enjoyable and memorable. Your primary responsibility will be to greet and seat guests, manage reservations, and maintain the flow of service in a busy environment. You will also be responsible for communicating effectively with the kitchen and service staff to ensure that guest needs are met promptly. By fostering positive relationships with guests, you will contribute to the overall success of our real estate development and management initiatives. Ultimately, your efforts will help enhance the reputation of our establishment and drive customer loyalty.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • High school diploma or equivalent.
      • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Must have Food Handlers and O.L.C.C. Permits.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Experience in a host or similar role within a restaurant or food and beverage setting.
      • Knowledge of reservation management systems.
      • Ability to speak multiple languages.

      Responsibilities:

      • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
      • Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and service efficiency.
      • Communicate guest needs and preferences to the kitchen and service staff.
      • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
      • Handle guest inquiries and feedback in a professional manner to enhance their experience.

      Skills:

      The required skills of strong communication and interpersonal abilities will be utilized daily as you interact with guests and staff, ensuring that everyone feels valued and heard. Your customer service experience will help you anticipate guest needs and respond to inquiries effectively, enhancing their overall experience. Preferred skills, such as familiarity with reservation systems, will streamline your workflow and improve efficiency in managing guest seating. Additionally, your ability to speak multiple languages can create a more inclusive environment for diverse guests, making them feel more comfortable. Overall, these skills will enable you to contribute positively to the team and the guest experience.
