      Job Description

      Become a Joint Pole Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll support the manual Joint Pole Authorizations (JPA) agreements that are received from the Planning organization as well as provide technical support to the Buddy Pole program and E1 Guy Failure Notification process. This position works closely with all planning organization within SCE, Major Project Organizations and/or other SCE departments to support compliance with all regulating policies and ordinances defining the Joint Pole Processes.

      • Analyzes and interprets SAP data as well information as it relates to the Southern California Joint Pole Routine Handbook and G.O. 95 and 165
      • Works multiple assignments concurrently while adjusting to changing priorities.
      • Provides technical advice on matters affecting SCE or Third Party Projects and SCE’s relationships with various agencies.
      • Works with cross-functional teams, handles risks and safety appropriately and manages information and provides outstanding service to internal and external customers.
      • Follows Edison safety protocols and safe work practices.
      • Uses effective decision making, results delivery, team building and staying current with relevant technology and innovation.
      Qualifications

      The essentials

      • Three or more years of experience in an analytical position.
      • Three or more years of experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint

      The preferred

      • Associate degree in Business or related field
      • Experience working with Joint Use contracts and license/ lease agreements.
      • Experience reviewing inventory maps and google maps
      • Experience managing multiple projects and reports with a high level of accuracy and with minimal supervision involvement
      • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
      • Experience using SAP
      • Experience in wireless / telecommunication
      • Experience reviewing inventory and google maps.

      You should know

      • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.

      · Position will require up to 10% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
