  Job Description

  We are looking for a journeyman electrician to work on residential and commercial locations for our busy electrical company. We offer a steady work schedule. You should have solid skills in troubleshooting and a good knowledge of proper safety procedures.   Job Responsibilities

  1. Test electrical systems using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to identify issues, ensure safety, and verify compatibility. Document actions, test results, observations, diagnoses, and steps taken to resolve issues.
  2. Repair electrical issues by replacing or installing components, wiring, or devices.
  3. Assess electrical situations using testing devices, blueprints, and maps to determine necessary steps.
  4. Maintain a safe work environment by following all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements, and report violations to the supervisor.
  5. Use ladders, scaffolding, platforms, and lifts to work on electrical systems in residential homes, roadside poles, and commercial properties.
  6. Maintain equipment to ensure it is in good condition and safe to operate; report issues to the supervisor.

  Job Skills & Qualifications

  • Required: Completed electrician apprenticeship
  • Proficiency with the National Electrical Code and local codes
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Must pass criminal background check and drug test
  • Valid state license

  Preferred: Previous experience working on residential and commercial electrical systems.

  Riverside County, San Bernardino County, Orange County, including cities from San Clemente to Huntington Beach, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Laguna Beach, Newport, Dana Point.
