Description
Standard Die is looking for a Journeyman Die Maker for their 1st shift. Ideally this candidate will have 10+ years of experience and is looking for a career company. The Die Maker can be expected to verify dimentions and alignments with calipers, gauges, and micrometers. Visualize dimensions and tolerances for assemblies based upon specifications and blueprints. They will repair, make, and modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools using machine and hand tools. They will need to smooth metal surgaces or edges to fit in tight tolerances for surface critical parts. The Die Maker shoudl have experience with progressive dies, compound dies, and small hydraulic deep draw dies up to 35 tons. They should have experience with prototypes as well. Their supervisor will be Myke Grayshaw 1st shift: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday though Friday - Currently working 9 hours M-F and if needed on Saturday's from 6am-11am.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr.
