      Job Summary:

      We are seeking experienced Instrumentation Technician or those with an active apprenticeship with live plant experience.       Essential Responsibilities:

      • Read and interpret drawings and follow code specifications and procedures
      • Instrumentation tubing
      • Installation of instruments, hoses and fabrication
      • Calibration of components and instruments according to manufacturers’ specifications
      • Inspecting and testing, fault finding
      • Ability to troubleshoot

      Requirements:

      • Have a Journeyperson Instrumentation certification or be a registered apprentice from a recognized provincial training authority
      • Experience with working on a construction project in an industrial setting
      • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
      • Excellent communication skills
      • Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
      • Successful candidates will require OSSA Regional Orientation Program, CSO or BSO
      • Energy Safety Canada’s Fall Protection

      Work Conditions:

      • Shift based position with 14 days on and 7 days off working 10 hours per day
      • Site based camp accommodation provided
      • Travel allowance provide to those candidates who qualify
      • Extended Health & Wellness benefits provided by CLAC
      • Work will primarily be outdoors in various weather conditions
