      The Client Operations team has a focus on ensuring adherence to regulatory Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) requirements. There are multiple teams with the Client Operations space covering both new clients (Onboarding, KYC, Quality Control) and Existing Clients (Periodic Reviews, Maintenance, Remediations, Quality Control).

      As an Analyst/Associate in the Client Operations team, the key priorities of the role will include: (i) the performance of a quality review of client KYC profiles and client documentation as part of the onboarding process for each new client and on a regular basis for existing clients; (ii) the analysis of complex account opening cases and assessment of potential risks: (iii) the processing of client documentation and corresponding system inputs during the client lifecycle; (iv) partnering with the Risk/Controls team to ensure Compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. Flexibility is a key attribute as you will likely be asked to rotate in multiple roles within our organization.

      Job responsibilities

      • Process new Account Openings requests in a timely and efficient manner, with the highest standards of quality and care, ensuring that the business is compliant with all Bank policies and regulatory/legal requirements globally
      • Performs the documentation updates for existing clients within the agreed SLA to minimize disruption and qualitatively enhance the client experience, while reducing risk for the Bank and prepare and sort documents for data entry
      • Enters data into various databases and check to ensure the accuracy of the data inputted
      • Performs quality review of new Account Openings and KYC Periodic Reviews in a timely and efficient manner, with the highest standards of quality and care
      • Prepares client-specific KYC-related analyses, interacting with the Bankers to obtain KYC and other compliance information and documentation
      • Performs remediation exercises as requested, including remediation of digital and physical records
      • Follows up on all outstanding issues/escalations with relevant partners in the Bank including the Risk/Controls team and ensure a good and smooth relationship with our key stakeholders, e.g. Business, Compliance, Legal, Client Services to ensure the best client experience

      Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

      • Apprenticeship in Switzerland or bachelor's degree in relevant fields
      • Understanding of the different structures open within the Wealth Management industry and the documentation associated with such structures
      • Familiarity with Swiss Law, CDB, OBA FINMA and other regulatory topics related to companies with complex structures
      • Sound knowledge of KYC/AML fields
      • Excellent organizational skills - attention to detail, methodical, process driven, multi-tasker who can manage multiple streams of work concurrently and prioritize effectively
      • Fluency in English mandatory / fluency in French, German, Spanish, Arabic or Portuguese would also be a strong advantage
      • Strong Microsoft Office skills, in particular with Word and Excel
