  CACI is seeking a Junior Database Administrator to join our team and support the Border Enforcement Applications for Government Leading-Edge Information Technology (IT) (BEAGLE) contract.   More About The Role:

  • Create and refine queries to answer business questions.

  • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis on an as needed basis.

  • Identify patterns and trends in data sets.

  • Create data visualizations to communicate trends to stakeholders.

  • Work directly with stakeholders to provide context and detail to inform data-driven decisions.

  • Analyze project-related problems and create innovative solutions involving technology, analytic methodologies, and advanced solution components.

  You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree

  • 0-2+ years of experience working with databases, including designing, implementing, and optimizing database systems.

  • Understanding of Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or MySQL, as well as understanding of NoSQL databases like DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, or Couchbase.

  • Some SQL skills for querying, analyzing, and managing data, as well

  • Some SQL skills – ability to create SQL queries for ad hoc and recurring requests.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile software development environment.

  • Experience using Jira, Confluence.

  • Pass CBP background investigation (U.S. Citizenship required).

  The proposed salary range for this position is:

  $48,300-$96,600
