Create and refine queries to answer business questions.
Conduct ad-hoc data analysis on an as needed basis.
Identify patterns and trends in data sets.
Create data visualizations to communicate trends to stakeholders.
Work directly with stakeholders to provide context and detail to inform data-driven decisions.
Analyze project-related problems and create innovative solutions involving technology, analytic methodologies, and advanced solution components.
College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree
0-2+ years of experience working with databases, including designing, implementing, and optimizing database systems.
Understanding of Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or MySQL, as well as understanding of NoSQL databases like DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, or Couchbase.
Some SQL skills for querying, analyzing, and managing data, as well
Some SQL skills – ability to create SQL queries for ad hoc and recurring requests.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working in a fast-paced, agile software development environment.
Experience using Jira, Confluence.
Pass CBP background investigation (U.S. Citizenship required).
