      Job Title: Jr Electrical Engineer


      Job Description

      We are seeking a passionate Jr Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves researching existing product designs to optimize and streamline them, analyzing technical drawings and schematics, and participating in design work under the guidance of senior engineers. You will also be responsible for maintaining thorough documentation of your work and occasionally assisting in testing components and systems.

      Responsibilities

      • Research existing product designs to streamline and optimize designs by identifying redundant components.
      • Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) to find opportunities for component commonization.
      • Analyze and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
      • Conduct simulations to evaluate the feasibility of component substitutions.
      • Participate in design work with guidance and training from senior engineers.
      • Maintain thorough documentation of designs, simulations, and testing processes.
      • Occasionally assist in testing components and systems, with support from experienced team members.

      Essential Skills

      • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
      • Familiarity with basic electrical engineering principles.
      • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
      • Familiarity with simulation software and CAD tools (PSpice is nice to have).
      • Basic understanding of electrical components and systems.
      • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOMs.
      • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
      • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience with basic electrical testing and troubleshooting.
      • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
      • Previous internship or project experience in electrical engineering.

      Work Environment

      This position is onsite. You will be working in a collaborative environment with opportunities to enhance your skills around documentation, testing, and design. The role includes PTO and holidays according to the JCI schedule.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $47.00/hr.
