- Learning all aspects of Operations
- Participate in Ad Hoc functions and tasks assigned
- High School Diploma/ College preferred
- Financial Services experience a plus
- Possess a high degree of proficiency with technology including MS Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Must demonstrate strong accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail in all facets of daily work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a necessity
- A desire to grow, both within the department and professionally/developmentally
- Able to interface and articulate well with all levels of employees, including management, in a highly professional, timely and friendly manner

Job Description
Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. is seeking a Jr. Operations Specialist to support the daily functioning of the Operations Department in our New York office. The role requires someone who will be able to work in a fast paced environment, multitask, and communicate effectively. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and have a collaborative mindset to work as part of a team.

For job postings in New York City, Oppenheimer is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. This salary range is specific to the City of New York and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making salary decisions including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 at the time of this posting. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.
