Jr. Photographer

Our successful, rapidly growing eCommerce company has an immediate opening for a full-time Jr. Photographer to work in our Marketing/Creative department.

We are looking for a full-time Jr. Photographer to join our growing marketing team. We are a tight-knit group, reliant on positive attitudes and the ability to work collaboratively.

The Jr. Photographer is responsible for shooting lifestyle images for a variety of partners, eCommerce white cut-outs of products when needed, and Marketing imagery. This will include lighting and shooting furniture in the studio with our stylists and collaborating with the Creative Leadership. They must be able to organize multiple shoots the same time and meet tight deadlines.

We are looking for an innovative thinker with creative problem-solving skills who isn't afraid to take responsibility for their work. This role requires the ability to have a good attitude while staying organized and communicating with the team.

This is how you can contribute to our success (Responsibilities):

• Lights and shoots a variety of furniture pieces in our studio space with different lighting scenarios for online listings and marketing needs
• Executes imagery on time, and up to quality standards.
• Works collaboratively with our stylists to set up, shoot, and clean up sets.
• Takes responsibility to help keep the studio space clean and organized.
• Ability to keep track of simultaneous photoshoots in Capture One as well as project management software.
• Ability and willingness to work on computer projects as needed.
• Great communication skills to maintain strong relationships with our stylists, editing team, and other photographers.
• Ability to give and receive constructive criticism.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist in moving furniture around the studio.

Qualifications:

• Technical Knowledge of Strobe Lighting, specifically Profoto
• Practical Strobe lighting experience in studio and on location
• Degree in Photography preferred, but not required
• Proficient in Bridge, Camera Raw, and Photoshop. Knowledge of Capture One
• Ability to keep projects organized in project management software
• Excels in a collaborative environment
• Innovative thinker with creative problem-solving skills
• Adaptable
• Ability to handle constructive criticism
• Must provide professional photography portfolio
