We are looking for a motivated QA Engineer who would work closely with the Engineering and Product teams.       Position Summary:

      We are looking for an innovative individual for the role of Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to successfully deliver a highly complex SaaS based Application development, deployment, and customer migration project. The position entails working with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and the successful candidate will require independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload.


      What you will be doing:

      • Test and try to break the next generation Volanté product that runs on the latest technologies using advanced testing techniques.

      • Execute test cases manually and using automation scripts with continuous integration tools such as TeamCity, Xray and analyze test results.

      • Apply knowledge gained in computer science courses to real-world problems.

      • Attend Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, refinement, planning, and retrospective sessions.

      • Have an exploratory mindset while testing and work with other teams to resolve them.

      What we are looking for:

      • Preferably 0-1 year of professional experience. Co-op experience in QA and Automation is a plus.

      • Completed a degree or Master’s program in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar streams.

      • Knowledge of software and/or testing methodologies.

      • Good programming skills (Java, C, C++, JavaScript, or similar)

      • Experience with data structures or algorithms gathered from inside or outside of school or work.

      • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

      • Ability to analyze and solve problems.

      • Available to work full time at our office in North York as well as flexible to work from home.
