      What is the opportunity?

      The successful candidate will be expected to provide support to the Business Development Sales teams on daily and ad hoc requests, as part of the Central Associates team.

      What will you do?

      • Develop an in-depth understanding of RBC BlueBay’s investment strategies, products and services through on the job training.
      • Develop a robust understanding of RBC BlueBay’s client requirements and objectives
      • Provide daily support to RBC BlueBay’s regional client facing teams covering a wide range of daily and ad hoc requests through group email queries.
      • Develop key relationships and contacts within the RBC BlueBay business to complete requests in a timely manner.
      • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint to update regular quarterly and monthly business reporting
      • Documentation of query management into internal database, Salesforce to ensure all stakeholders are aware of progress and are contributing towards the target completion dates.
      • Develop expertise through on the job training of internal team processes and controls to build a foundation for progression into the business when opportunities arise.
      • Option to complete the Investment Management Certificate and beyond that either CISI Level 6 Fund Management module or CFA Level 1, with RBC BlueBay support.

      What do you need to succeed?

      Must have

      • Degree educated with at least a 2:1 achieved or equivalent.
      • Knowledge of the financial services industry and interest in investment products and fund structures.
      • Strong oral and written communication skills – confidence to effectively interface at all levels of the firm.
      • Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to multitask in fast-paced environment.
      • Excellent proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
      • Strong communication and organisation skills
      • Keenness to learn and hit the ground running
      • Ability to be resilient and adaptable to undertake a number of tasks and projects concurrently.
      • A genuine team player
      • Displays a positive and energetic attitude
      • Can work well with deadlines
      • Expert level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products
      • Fluency in an additional European language is preferred

      Nice to have

      • Understanding of RBC BlueBay suite of products
      • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM program
