      The Court Operations Department is comprised of Operations Specialists and Business Analysts. The team is a service-orientated unit, tasked with providing a range of services and tools that support the effectiveness, growth, and efficiency of the Courts Department, which is deeply rooted in a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. This unit supports all teams (including Leadership) and is responsible for division wide training efforts, procedure & documentation efforts, project support, and process improvement assistance.

      This Junior Business Analyst has entry level responsibilities to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of customers. In addition, apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve processing and system related issues to maximize the benefit of court systems. All functions are performed in accordance with the department policies, procedures, and guidelines with ample direction from leadership.

      • Associate's or Technical Degree or two years of direct experience required
      • Three years of clerical and customer service experience preferred
      • Intermediate experience in desktop applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
      Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
      • Accurate keyboarding and data entry skills
      • Proficiency in business English and business math
      • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
      • Ability to effectively develop, measure, deliver and facilitate training, previous experience
      • Ability to analyze organizational, departmental and functional needs for program development
      • Effective communication, both orally and in writing
      • Effective interpersonal skills, strong work ethic and professional demeanor
      • Ability to work and make decisions under pressure and meet all deadlines, goals and objectives as set forth
      • Use tact in sensitive situations, maintain confidentiality of restricted files, and maintain a courteous attitude at all times
      • Demonstrate proficiency with operations and general care of the PC, printers and other office equipment
      Work Conditions
      • Office: Majority of the time is spent sitting at the computer, remainder of the time is spent assisting in other functions
      • Work from Home (if applicable): Majority of the time is spent sitting at the computer
      • This position requires clear verbal interaction with employees, the public and agencies
      • This position may require prolonged standing during training delivery
      • This position may require bending and reaching
      • This position may require going to other departments and/or offices on different floors and/or buildings throughout the day
      • This position may require occasional travel to other sites to review products, or attend meetings, seminars or classes
      • Ability to use standard office equipment
      • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
