      Job summary

      The Trust is looking to appoint a Trust FY2 doctor to fill Deanery vacancy within the department of ENT.

      This post is to ideally commence 6th August 2025 for a period of a 12 months

      The successful candidate must possess basic medical degree eg MBBS or equivalent, Full GMC Registration with a Licence to Practice, Adult Life support and have completed Foundation Year 2 training or equivalent and be Ability to demonstrate relevant experience and qualifications to undertake the required duties including on-call duties.

      Main duties of the job

      Key Responsibilities

      1. Provide efficient advice and treatment to a variety of patients presenting

      with ENT problems under the supervision of the Consultant Mr Diakos.

      2. Provide inpatient ward care.

      3. Undertake weekly ward rounds on a rotational basis with the middle

      grades team.

      4. Provide cover in casualty clinics under supervision of a middle grade and Consultant on call.

      5. There are also additional duties within the service and as such, the post

      holder will be expected to cover Telephone clinics.

      6. Take part in audit activities and to be involved in teaching and training the

      ENT junior doctors.

      7. Assist the Consultant in treating patients in review clinic.

      8. Provide support to junior doctors.

      9. Provide prospective cover for colleagues' absence.
