As our developer for the Identity Operations team you will be on a versatile position that combines operational tasks, consulting with Research and Development (R&D), and light application/tool development. As a team member, your primary responsibility is to ensure the timely fulfillment of operational requests related to the identity platform, originating from diverse sources. The role also involves seeking opportunities to enhance visibility into the identity platform by developing and improving basic tools. This is role that is great for people being in generalist roles interested in learning further identity space with an opportunity to become senior identity engineers.

A day in the life…

• Monitor and maintain the health of existing Identity Integrations for CIAM and Workforce.

• Support Accolade Engineering in onboarding in-house applications, in-house services, and 3rd party services onto Accolade's Identity Platform.

• Collaborate with compliance and security teams to ensure that the health and security of all Identity Integrations meet industry best practices.

• Work with Identity Engineering to ensure Integration tools meet and exceed the needs of Accolade's customers and consumers (internal and external).

• Proactively review reported incidents and requests within the company. Conduct root cause analyses, address issues, and make configuration changes as required. Serve as a consultant to developers and various stakeholders on Identity Integrations, designs, and policy configurations.

• Build on top of low-code framework tooling, when applicable and based on metrics, to enable the company to scale, automate, or delegate tasks.

What we are looking for…

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field

• Around 2 years of experience preferably as a JS developer

• Fundamental understanding of SAML/OIDC and SCIM protocols

• Experience in OAuth2 principles and familiarity with JWT (JSON Web Tokens) is nice to have

• Experience with scripting languages, particularly JavaScript or Python (you will be using Javascript frequently with Low-code/No code platform)

• Ability to analyze data and process flows, able to collaborate with development and various stakeholders on identity integration tasks and challenges
