Job Description
- Req#: 9531
- Design, develop, and maintain distributed systems using Kafka and Kubernetes
- Deploy, monitor, scale, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters
- Containerize applications with Docker to enable seamless multi-environment deployments
- Work closely with development teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Apply industry best practices for security and compliance in containerized environments
- Contribute to QA efforts, environment setup, and technical issue resolution
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into clear technical specs
- Assist in drafting and maintaining technical documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in DevOps tools, processes, and practices
- 1 to 3 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or software development
- Practical experience with Kubernetes (architecture, deployment, operational support)
- Knowledge of Kafka or similar streaming/data pipeline technologies
- Proficiency in Docker for container creation and orchestration
- Comfortable with scripting languages such as Bash or Python
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
- Exposure to CI/CD tools and DevOps toolchains
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Arobas Personnel is currently seeking a Junior DevOps Developer for a contract opportunity with one of our clients located in Montreal.
*Remote : Hybrid- 3 days/week on site*
