- Support content creation for communication outputs, with focus on social media (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram) and newsletters.
- Ensure all online content follows the relevant project style guide and complies with accessibility requirements.
- Sourcing relevant multimedia (photos, videos) to accompany online content and make minor edits.
- Supporting and monitoring functional mailboxes, handling requests for communication outputs.
- Supporting the sourcing of suppliers for a variety of events and communication activities including videographer, photographers, and promotional materials.
- Liaising with communications manager and specialists to improve and seek opportunities with increasing visibility of projects.
- University degree or equivalent experience in communications/cross media or a related discipline.
- A first experience through an internship or traineeship in public sector institutions.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Experience developing written copy for social media and newsletters.
- With the support of graphic designers and communications specialists, develop visually compelling digital outputs (i.e. for social media, newsletters, and in-person events).
- Knowledge of tools like Social Pilot, Hootsuite, CleverReach, Mailchimp, and/or Canva is a plus.
- Experience in social media analytics, monitoring trends, and conducting comprehensive analysis is a plus.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills, including time management, multi-tasking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including interacting with multi-national and multi-disciplinary stakeholders.
- A C1 (or equivalent) level of English is required.

We are expanding our services, and to support this growth, we are looking for a Junior Digital Communications Officer to join our Policy in Action team.
PIA provides programme and network support, technical assistance, and mutual (peer-based) learning and training services to European Union (EU) institutions.
Our portfolio of projects covers a range of policy areas, including employment, labour market, social inclusion and protection, education and training, and migration.
About the role:
The role will involve supporting the digital communications of several projects.
We are looking for a candidate with experience in digital communications who is willing to expand their knowledge and progress within this role at ICF.
