What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide technical support to clients in environmental site characterization, monitoring, and regulatory reporting
- Collect and interpret soil, groundwater, and air samples
- Execute fieldwork, maintain project schedules, and supervise contractors
- Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments in accordance with ASTM Standards
- Draft technical documents for regulatory agencies and clients across various sectors
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Biology, Hydrology, or related scientific field
- 2 to 5 years of applicable experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Geoscientist-in-Training (GIT) certification
- Current HAZWOPER certification
- Experience working in California geologic environments
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and scientific computer programs
