  To achieve this, we are seeking for Junior Front End Developer to join our Transformation Realized™ Consulting practice. Our team is part of EY’s Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe & Central Asia (CESA) cluster, delivering market leading services to organizations across industries in Cyprus and internationally.

  Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement user interfaces and user experiences using JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, jQuery, Vue.js and/or CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap

  • Implement Content Management Systems such as WordPress

  • Collaborate within the wider team to assess, plan, and execute migration of websites into new platforms

  • Collaborate with the design team to translate UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality code

  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

  • Collaborate with QA team to conduct thorough testing to ensure seamless performance across various platforms

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating best practices into the development process

  • Work closely with back-end developers to enhance the overall application performance and functionality

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to front-end development

  • Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to provide updates and address inquiries

  To qualify for the role, you should have

  • BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering with preferably up to 1 year of verifiable relevant working experience

  • Knowledge in CSS3, HTML, and related web technologies

  • Knowledge in JavaScript frameworks

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation, and testing of programs

  • Capable of working collaboratively within a project team

  • Strong communication skills to convey ideas and updates effectively

  • Ability to troubleshoot and find solutions to technical challenges independently

  • Meticulous when it comes to coding and design implementation

  • A proactive attitude towards acquiring other relevant knowledge especially in Low Code / No Code platforms

  • Fluent in English

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Self-driven and flexible, can work autonomously with a proven work ethic

  • Team player who enjoys working with people from different backgrounds and disciplines

  • Hard working professional with ability to work under pressure

  • Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality

  It will be a plus if you have

  • Experience in CSS preprocessors such as Saas

  • Experience with source control systems such as Git

  • Experience with integrating with REST / APIs and microservices

  • A solid understanding of WordPress and experience with theme development and customization
