Job Description

Creates engaging and effective marketing materials such as point of sale materials, environmental graphics, digital ads, emails and social media assets.
Emphasis on animation and video editing for a variety of platforms including social media and web advertising.
Works both as a team and independently to solve problems visually.
Follows and enforces brand standards across all mediums.
Manipulates or color corrects images if needed. Maintains asset and database management of Hy-Vee images and files.
Reports to work on time and works expected number of hours.
Assists the Marketing team with special projects and other large initiatives.
Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.
Visual requirements include: ability to see detail at near range with or without correction.
Must be physically able to perform sedentary work: occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 10 pounds, and occasionally standing or walking.
Must be able to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

Education and Experience:
Four-year degree with an emphasis in graphic design preferred. Experience preferred in an advertising agency or design firm or relevant field.
