      Summary: The Junior Interior Designer will contribute to architectural and interior design projects, assisting in brand concept development, design documentation, and digital visualization. This role requires proficiency in design software, 3D rendering, and CAD/Revit, supporting the team in executing creative and technical aspects of projects. The candidate will collaborate within a hybrid work environment based in Southern California.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

      Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

      Design and Concept Development

      • Support architectural and interior design initiatives, assisting in concept development and space planning.
      • Assist in the creation of brand books, FF&E selections, and design standards to ensure cohesive project execution.
      • Develop graphic design materials, 3D visualizations, and mood boards to support design presentations.
      • Conduct research on design trends, materials, finishes, and furnishings to support design decisions.
      • Assist with material and finish selections, ensuring alignment with project goals and brand aesthetics.

      Technical and Project Execution

      • Work with CAD and Revit to produce detailed design drawings and documentation.
      • Utilize project/drawing management software, including Procore, BIM 360, or equivalent, to track project progress and documentation.
      • Prepare client presentations and design proposals in collaboration with senior designers.
      • Maintain project files, documentation, and design libraries for efficient project execution.

      Collaboration and Coordination

      • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to support design implementation and procurement.
      • Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure design integrity and implementation.
      • Collaborate with senior designers, architects, and stakeholders to refine project details and provide design support.
      • Participate in a hybrid team environment based in Southern California, contributing to both in-office and remote collaboration.

      Qualifications

      • Proficiency in graphic design and 3D software suites.
      • Strong working knowledge of CAD and Revit.
      • Familiarity with project/drawing management software (Procore, BIM 360, or equivalent).
      • Ability to contribute to brand concept and rebranding efforts.
      • Strong collaboration skills in a hybrid work setting.

      Education and Experience

      Required:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
      • Minimum of 3 years of experience with design software and technical drawing applications.

      Preferred:

      • Previous experience in hospitality design projects.
      • Familiarity with hybrid work models and in-office collaboration.

      Work Environment/Physical Demands: General office environment where you will walk, bend, and stand for periods of time.

      The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
