      Management Accountant

      Hybrid working with up to 3 days per week working from home

      Cromwell Hospital, Central London

      Permanent

      £42K - £50K per annum DOE

      As our Management Accountant you’ll be working within the finance team helping to deliver full month end reporting statements. If you’ve experience with stock accounting or debits and credits, then this is an ideal next step for you.

      Here it’s a different culture with a family feel. You’ll be engaging with all levels of stakeholders and be developed gaining exposure to all aspects of accounting.

      You’ll help us make health happen by:

      The post holder will be part of the Record to Report/Accounting functions for the Cromwell Hospital. In this role you will be working within the finance team to deliver full month end reporting statements. You will asset the Senior Management Accountant on all finance functions as appropriate.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Assist with the preparation of month end reporting.

      • Inventory accounting for month end reporting.

      • Accruals and prepayments for month end reporting.

      • Preparing and entering journals for month end reporting

      • Monthly preparation of balance sheet reconciliations

      • Responding to financial inquiries.

      • Various tax analysis.

      • Preparation and payment of various consultant fees.

      • Assist with the preparation of financial statutory accounts

      • To establish and maintain effective communication with the different finance & clinical teams & with all other departments in the Hospital involved in the care of the patient.

      • Document key processes and identify opportunities to make them more efficient.

      • Raise purchase orders for consultant payments.

      • Assist other finance teams with financial analysis.

      Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

      • Management Accountant, Part Qualified, ACA, ACCA, CIMA. Will also consider applicants who are fully qualified by experience (QBE) and or MAAT.

      • Experience with all aspects of month end accounting exposure

      • Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills

      • Strong IT skills with Excel, People Soft & Oracle.

      • Experience and understanding of IFRS16, stock and capex accounting advantageous.
