      Junior Network Security Engineer - Remote, Indiana

      The primary responsibility of a Junior Security Engineer is to provide technical support and assistance to the global cybersecurity operations team in various aspects of securing Allegion’s products, infrastructure, and services. This position will engage, as part of the global cybersecurity operations team, with other areas such as IT infrastructure, regional IT teams, software development teams, product engineering, and Allegion business users. This position reports to the Director of Global Cybersecurity Operations.

      What You Will Do:

      • Assist in the administration and maintenance of security tools.
      • Troubleshoot Allegion employee issues that stem from security tools and processes.
      • Provide input to and enforcement of Allegion security policies.
      • Analyze and recommend improvements to team processes and procedures.
      • Stay current on the latest security threats and the associated security controls.

      What You Need to Succeed:

      • Bachelor’s degree preferred in cybersecurity, network engineering preferred.
      • 0-2 years of experience required
      • Understanding of how security tools are used in an enterprise environment.
      • Proven success in a customer-service role.
      • Industry certifications or courses related to information security or other relevant discipline.
      • Demonstrated technical aptitude with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business language.
      • Learning agility, including a demonstrated ability to pick up and master new business and technical subjects quickly.
      • Ability to deal with ambiguity and make quality decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
