Job Description

- Data Entry – setting up, terminating and processing employee changes into ADP
- Keep accurate records of all transactions and related back up
- Maintain electronic file system related to employee activity
- Monitor employee inactivity
- Comply with audit requirements
- Adhere to Collective Agreements, applicable legislation, and various Company policies/procedures
- May be required to compile required remittance data and submit requisitions for payment (weekly and monthly)
- May be required to retrieve, review, and submit ROE’s via ROE Web
- Provide payroll coverage when necessary
- Provide benefit coverage back up when necessary
- Various other duties as requested by management
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience with ADP would be an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Must be able to handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner
- Must be able to work under pressure, to multi-task, and meet deadlines
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Possess strong organizational skills
- Previous experience within the industrial construction industry would also be considered an asset
Primoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.
SUMMARY
The Junior Payroll Administrator is responsible for supporting various functions within the Payroll Department.

Shift: Monday-Friday
