  Dewberry is currently seeking a Junior Power Platform Developer for our Fairfax, VA or Tampa, FL office.

  Responsibilities

  • Develop client-facing solutions within Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Pages and Power Apps
  • Perform needs assessments to identify application and visualization requirements
  • Design databases in SharePoint lists, Microsoft Dataverse, and SQL
  • Develop user acceptance testing and documentation
  • Maintain and support applications according to changing business/mission requirements
  • Serve as a resource for other staff on Power Platform products
  • Work on consulting projects for government and commercial clients.
  • Develop web, mobile, and desktop applications.
  • Participate in testing, supporting and deploying tools and preparing technical documentation.

  Required Skills & Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, GIS or other relevant geospatial or data science related field, masters preferred
  • 2+ years performing Power Platform development roles, including experience working with Power Pages and Power Apps
  • Knowledge of Power Platform and other Microsoft O365 licensing plans and features included in different plans
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities under tight schedules as required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, verbal and written communication, design development, and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work independently using strong organizational skills and operate effectively in team settings using an agile software development approach.
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications are preferred
  • An understanding of GIS is preferred
  • Qualified candidates will have strong competencies and demonstrated experience developing data management, analysis, and visualization solutions with an emphasis on business analytics
  • Be a U.S. citizen capable of passing a federal background investigation to obtain a Public Trust clearance
