Job Description

- Develop client-facing solutions within Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Pages and Power Apps
- Perform needs assessments to identify application and visualization requirements
- Design databases in SharePoint lists, Microsoft Dataverse, and SQL
- Develop user acceptance testing and documentation
- Maintain and support applications according to changing business/mission requirements
- Serve as a resource for other staff on Power Platform products
- Work on consulting projects for government and commercial clients.
- Develop web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Participate in testing, supporting and deploying tools and preparing technical documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, GIS or other relevant geospatial or data science related field, masters preferred
- 2+ years performing Power Platform development roles, including experience working with Power Pages and Power Apps
- Knowledge of Power Platform and other Microsoft O365 licensing plans and features included in different plans
- Ability to handle multiple priorities under tight schedules as required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving, verbal and written communication, design development, and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently using strong organizational skills and operate effectively in team settings using an agile software development approach.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications are preferred
- An understanding of GIS is preferred
- Qualified candidates will have strong competencies and demonstrated experience developing data management, analysis, and visualization solutions with an emphasis on business analytics
- Be a U.S. citizen capable of passing a federal background investigation to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Dewberry is currently seeking a Junior Power Platform Developer for our Fairfax, VA or Tampa, FL office.
Dewberry’s Geospatial and Technology Services creates geospatial and analytical solutions for real-world engineering, environmental, and community problems.
