      Junior Project Controller

      We are looking for an energetic and dynamic Junior Project Controller to join the Future Research & Development Projects team with a main responsibility in controlling operations, playing a key role in shaping our reporting and accounting processes.

      Become part of a diverse, multinational and highly motivated team based in Frauenfeld, Switzerland.

      In this position, remote working is an option too.

      Your role and responsibilities

      As a Junior Project Controller and vital member of our team, you will bring enthusiasm and expertise to contribute to the overall success of our decarbonisation strategy.

      Responsibilities for the position

      • Support execution of financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control activities.
      • Contribute to the quarter-end reporting process and investigate causes of variances compared to the budget.
      • Support the program manager and project managers in the CAPEX process.
      • Ensure compliance with internal control systems by performing dedicated month-end closing activities.
      • Identify and support process improvements.

      Requirements for the position

      • EU/EFTA or Swiss work permit.
      • A business administration qualification (a BSc from a university is the minimum requirement) and/or further training specialising in finance/controlling.
      • Good knowledge of Excel.
      • Fluent in English.
      • Effective communication skills.
      • Results-oriented with a hands-on attitude.
      • Strong team player with the ability to work in a cross-cultural environment and in a virtual team.
      • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.

      As an ideal candidate you might also have…

      • Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
      • Italian and German knowledge is an advantage.
      • Willingness to learn and to grow in high-level collaborative environment.
      • Curious approach about things.
      • Good planning, time management and organizational skills.
      • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
