      Sopra Steria is on the hunt for a dynamic and motivated Junior PMO to join our fast-paced team within the exciting Aerospace, Defence, and Security sector!

      Are you ready to make an impact? As a Junior PMO, you'll play a pivotal role in planning and driving our projects and programmes. You'll tackle a variety of responsibilities, from managing intricate activities to controlling project spend, and ensuring smooth transitions to our client services.
      You will design, implement, and own the support infrastructure to improve the efficient management of small to medium scale, sophisticated, and medium value/small risk programmes and project portfolios.

      This role requires 4-5 days onsite each week, dependent on client requirements, with opportunities to travel to customer sites across the South East of England, offering a blend of office and on-the-go experiences.

      What you will be doing:

      • Collaborate with clients to define project scope, budget, and timelines that fit their unique environments.
      • Plan and handle project activities with precision, ensuring seamless communication, comprehensive reporting, meticulous documentation, proactive risk management, and efficient team coordination.
      • Be responsible for budgets and resources to make sure successful project delivery.
      • Drive new business by contributing to bids and other sales activities.
      • Conduct assignment reviews at key project life cycle stages.
      • Make sure there is consistent use of delivery methods and tools in coordination with the Quality team.

      What you will bring:

      • Exceptional communication and partnership skills to cultivate a collaborative environment.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 to streamline project tasks.
      • Insight into project management to understand and navigate project workflows.

      It would be great if you had:

      • A background in IT services
      • Familiarity with common project management tools (budgeting, planning, risk management)
      • Relevant certifications such as P3O Practitioner, AIPMO, or House of PMO
