We are looking for a highly motivated RF device characterization and modeling engineer. In this exciting role, you will characterize and model RF devices used in the latest technologies for automotive radar systems and other RF application systems. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to work in a state of the art RF laboratory with some of the leading experts in the RF domain. You will be an integral part of an innovation team and thus expected to develop and consolidate your skills in the measurement of RF devices and the physics of these devices.
As RF device characterization and modeling engineer, your challenge will be to characterize and model the high frequency behaviour of devices. You will use tools to enable on-wafer characterization, this will include DC/CV and RF systems. Besides gaining high degree of knowledge on the measurement systems, you will need to understand, interpret and model the device behavior used by circuit design engineers.
Your responsibilities
· On-wafer DC/CV and RF measurements in our state-of-art lab facilities.
· Data analysis and interpretation of the device behaviour. Extraction, creation and improvement of spice models for circuit simulation.
· Provide documentation and support to the design community.
· Maintain an innovative and effective device-modeling infrastructure, this includes hardware and software elements.
Your team
The Modeling team is responsible for delivering the spice models for all technologies (Advanced CMOS, High-Voltage and RF) within NXP. We work closely together with design teams to successfully launch products in internal factories as well as external foundries. We work on leading edge technologies for applications in the Automotive (Radar, Radio, Infotainment), IoT (Microcontroller), and Mobile (Payment, NFC, UWB). Wide range of technologies include FinFET and High-K/Metal Gate, embedded NVM and SiGe technologies.
