      Job Description:

      L3Harris Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Associate, Software Engineer, to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Associate, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and support our mission-critical operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative software products and solutions.

      Essential Functions:

      • Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions and systems.
      • Collaborate with product managers and other engineers from cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design software solutions for products
      • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
      • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
      • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
      • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
      • Ensure agile software development methodology is practiced managing software development cycle.
      • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply this knowledge to improve existing systems and processes.
      • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development process and team collaboration.
      • Ability to obtain clearance is required.

      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience in Software Engineering.

      Preferred Additional Skills:

      • Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded systems design.
      • Development experience with the Linux OS
      • Proficiency with C, C++
      • Proficiency with multi-threaded, multi-core design and/or real-time operating systems
      • Experience with object-oriented design
      • Understanding of Design, Implementation and Testing of large software systems
      • Experience with software emulators/debuggers
      • Ability to work effectively in a team environment; good interpersonal and communication skills
      • Creativity in problem solving.
