      Department Overview

      TETRON Sicherheitsnetz Errichtungs- und BetriebsgmbH, an Austrian Joint-Venture of Motorola Solutions and Nokia Solutions and Networks, is specialized in the design, construction, and operation of digital radio networks for public safety organizations and authorities (BOS).
      We operate this critical infrastructure, ensuring reliable and secure communication for police, fire and ambulance services as well as other essential agencies, to enable the efficient and effective coordination and response to emergencies across Austria.


      Job Description

      We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior System Engineer to join our team. You will be involved in the design, configuration, support and further enhancement of a TETRA communication system as well as its connected peripheral systems.

      • Support in system design and configuration, including the telephony functionality and internal IT.
      • Assist with the support and coordination of special projects with certain clients
      • (e.g., ÖBB, ASFINAG).
      • Perform base station modifications, installations for indoor coverage and assist with site relocations across Austria.
      • Prepare smaller quotations and support logistic tasks.
      • Collaborate effectively with other system engineers, project managers and clients.


      Basic Requirements

      Educational Background/Qualifications:

      • HTL degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualification
      • Basic IT/communications technology skills
      • Knowledge of IT networks: installation, configuration, and administration of IT hardware components
      • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems is a plus
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
      • Excellent problem-solving skills
      • Excellent German and good English language skills
      • Mobility/willingness to travel within Austria - company car including private use
      • Driver’s license Class B
