Job Description

- Use design software, such as Figma or Adobe Creative Suite, to create mockups and prototypes
- Keep up to date with the latest UI design and usability trends and techniques
- Contribute to and understand the use of our UI design style guides
- Execute visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to front-end developers
- Conduct UI design and usability competitor analysis and reports
- Create wireframes, user flows and process flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Establish and promote UI design best practices and standards
- Assist in QA to make sure features are implemented as intended
- Proactive with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to be self-directed
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- 2+ years of experience as a Visual/UI designer for digital products or web and mobile based consumer
- Experience using Adobe XD and Figma for wireframing and prototyping, user research and testing, organizing information, analytics, and metrics
- Basic Understanding of UI/UX design principles
- Basic Understanding of cross platform, responsive design and grid principles
- Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills across organization-wide architectures
- Ability to effectively communicate user experience data, design proposals, and influence at the highest levels of organizations
- Proactive with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong typography, layout and visual design skills
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to be self-directed
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Experience with iOS and Android app design
- Experience with conducting usability testing and prototyping
- Familiarity with AB testing and conversion optimization

Main purpose of the Junior UI Designer role:
The ideal candidate is passionate about new opportunities and experience working on consumer-facing UI design and visuals with strong ideation skills, have an eye for design and deep attention to detail. Must be able to work with ambiguity and deliver designs that elevate the customer experience as a whole.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.
A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly/salary range is $67,000 to $73,000 per year.
