- Transform the ticket needs into an unable & accurate plan the plant floor associates can be used to produce needed product. Drive improvement strategies to the shop floor within the plant planning systems.
- Works close with Manufacturing Control Coordinator & planning team members to ensure focus is maintained to ensure the plants internal needs are met as well as external customers.
- Leadership responsibility & accountability for teaching & coaching shop floor associates on the planning & ticketing processes within the facility.
- Promote & be engaged in further implementation of efficient planning systems, including standard work, Kanban systems & other pull/lean systems. Engage in high quality analysis of plant planning operations to identify improvement initiatives.
- Participate in systems that continuously improve the movement of product through the facility. Perform & execute all other duties assigned by direct leadership.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, lean technologies or related fields preferred
- Plant/manufacturing experience preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain/planning field

About the Position:
This position works with plant planning team & internal Materials organization to identify internal customer needs, create/execute plant ticket structure & drive it to shop floor. Actions centered on creating a functional, visual plan for plant ticketing execution. Improve & enhance known planning solutions to meet product requirements. A level of managing indirectly & by influence cross functionally required. Use lean methods to drive the ticketing process to achieve a more effective, integrated transparent supply chain. Manage & drive system & producers to improve materials movement into, thru & out of the plant in support of NA mfg. understands available tech & standards. Consults with experts as needed on the appropriate level for the application. Avoids inappropriate levels of risk. Work w/in standard work for all planning & ticketing processes. Makes improvements to or enhance current processes w/in functional group. Documents accomplished work & follows management standards. Collects data & inputs to be used in making quality decisions. Knowledge of elements that make up the inter plant material flow. Knowledge of tire technology a plus. Understanding of product delivery systems, including traditional scheduling systems, Kanban systems, Sequencing Heihunka, Bus Route's & Supermarket systems. Strong computer necessary for plant scheduling management. Possess strong communication, business, technical, analytical & planning skills. Ability to guide, mentor & teach others. Ability to influence within an organization to accomplish goals. Transformational execution ability. PSMS or similar system familiarity#LI-MW1
