Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree, including 15 semester (25 quarter) units in computer science or management information systems AND one (1) year of paid experience in a complex IT environment utilizing principles and techniques which include system support, troubleshooting and resolution of network problems, and managing or coordinating network technology implementations for a department or organization with increasing levels of complexity; OR Completion of (60) semester (90) quarter units from an accredited college or university with course work in computer science or management information systems AND three (3) years of paid experience in a complex IT environment utilizing principles and techniques which include system support, troubleshooting and resolution of network problems, and managing or coordinating network technology implementations for a department or organization with increasing levels of complexity; OR Five (5) years of paid experience in a complex IT environment utilizing principles and techniques which include system support, troubleshooting and resolution of network problems, and managing or coordinating network technology implementations for a department or organization with increasing levels of complexity.

Qualifying experience must have been within the last five (5) years.
Salary:
KCERA Network Engineer: $2,213.71 - $2,645.59 Biweekly
KCERA Senior Network Engineer: $3,217.91 - $3,845.70 Biweekly
Examinations:
Appraisal (Weight 100%): Will be conducted for the purpose of evaluating the applicant's training, education, experience, interest and personal fitness for the position. Appraisal can be based on any combination of the following: Investigation, oral exam, and/or rating of the application.
Q ualified candidates will be notified of the testing date five days prior to the examination.
Applicants must attain at least a 70% score on each phase of the examination process.

Applicants must possess the physical capacity to perform all essential tasks.
Valid California Class C Driver's License is required at the time of appointment
