- Software programming using Q / KDB backend and UI development using Delta Stream Dashboard builder.
- Perform data analysis and apply ML / AI based libraries for innovative solutions to the requirements / problems in Market Abuse Surveillance.
- This role will work closely with business analysts and trade surveillance users.
- Provide effort estimates of based on requirements to project managers.
- Keep the technical specification documentation updated and version controlled in sharepoint.
- Ensure excellent quality of the code delivered such that stability and resiliency of the production system is not compromised.
- Evaluate and implement innovative and continuous design improvements to KDB platform.
- Keeps current with new practice, technical developments and innovation in market for potential use as solutions to requirements.
- Adhere to best practices and coding standards for qKDB, document and publish the same.
- Manage and support / maintain Cyber Risk, Resilience Risk, Stability Risks of application and drive towards low risk environment.
- Product Owner Support - Support the Product Owner in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governance.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.
- A proven track record of successfully implementing development projects using Agile methodologies as a q / KDB developer in large, complex projects in a high-tech development environment with multi-function teams.
- Prior experience with Scrum / Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects.
- Ability to assist to business analysts and collaborate with customers and develop strategies and solutions of high business value.
- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

- Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association.
