- Data Entry into key system, Salesforce
- Enters physician recommendation details in Salesforce (prior to class date)
- Provide support for Educators by entering class data into Salesforce
- Update records in Salesforce as needed to ensure high quality of data in system
- Provide external call support
- Register participants recommended by physicians for a Kidney Smart class.
- Make reminder and no-show rescheduling calls to Kidney Smart class registrants.
- Receive and answer inbound questions from physicians and participants
- Maintain and manage class schedules for Educators
- Ensure Educators are using correct forms and submitting class information on time
- Provide Kidney Smart metrics to leadership when needed
- Provide feedback letters on education progress to physicians
- Review monthly reporting and reconcile data as needed
- Order supplied for Educators
- Manage additional shared outlook divisional inbox
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:
- Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed
- Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in a related degree and/or 2+ years of experience in an administrative or customer service position
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
- Proven track record of running tactical execution and balancing many tasks under pressure
- Ability to independently execute on logistical tactics and prioritize appropriately
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to be near a phone to receive/return Kidney Smart calls

- Ability to quickly learn & adapt to new IT systems
- Experience working and tracking tasks in Salesforce (preferred)
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt easily to a fast-paced, changing environment and to follow through on tasks and assignments
- Ability to lift minimum of 2 pounds to a maximum of 15 pounds unassisted; able to sit for extended periods of time with some standing, stooping, walking, stretching, reaching; moderate range of body motions.
- Ability to hear and interact by phone and in person clearly and efficiently; ability to make effective presentations to management at all levels.
- Ability to use computer and all peripherals for extended periods of time.

Kidney Smart is DaVita’s Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patient education program that is designed to educate and empower patients and their families around understanding and managing CKD. Kidney Smart classes are held at no-cost in neighborhoods across the country by certified Kidney Smart educators.
Administrative support for local Kidney Smart teams is critical to success by helping Divisions focus resources for specific responsibilities. The Kidney Smart Local Coordinator will be instrumental in assisting the KS Division Lead and field operations team to build the foundation for successful Kidney Smart program. The KS Local Coordinator will help increase capacity of local KS Educators so they can focus their time on providing effective and impactful CKD Education classes to patients and caregivers.
The role will be focused on providing support for KS educators in a Division by coordinating class schedules, acting as key intake for recommendation processes, patient scheduling and post-class reporting. The role should cover coordinating KS tasks across one Division. Regional KS Local Coordinators are not recommended.
