      SUMMARY

      Meets daily production goals and ensures the most efficient use of company’s resources and communicates with supervisors to improve company products and processes.

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

      • Receives row assignment from supervisor’s/operator’s schedule posted at the time clock.
      • Involves the most efficient use of available resources to produce products to customer satisfaction.
      • Communicates regularly with Supervisor to meet or exceed labor hours as developed by management.
      • Participates in team meetings with the focus toward meeting the delivery/labor goals with an emphasis on improvements to the process.
      • Suggest process improvements for products through AccuMED’s improvement suggestion process.
      • Assist Supervisor on projects, work instructions etc. to achieve common goals
      • Examines product before and after operation is completed for correctness to established standards.
      • Promotes a safe work environment.
      • Performs additional duties as requested, needed, or assigned.

      ABILITY TO

      • Read, write, and speak and understand in English and Spanish, to interpret documents such as specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, reports, business correspondence, regulatory and procedure manuals.
      • Communicate clearly and effectively with co-workers, Supervisors and Managements.
      • Work independently with little or no supervision and be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player.
      • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
      • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram record data or schedule form.
      • Physically able to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment – manual dexterity, visual acuity, and speed.
      • Displays ability to work in highly productive, constantly changing environment.
      • Effectively execute tasks.
      • Exceptional work performance and attendance record.

      EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

      • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

      PHYSICAL DEMANDS

      The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Required physical demands are as follows:

      • Frequent hand, finger, and wrist movement to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
      • Requires standing (80%) and walking (20%).
      • The employee frequently is required to talk, listen/use hearing, stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch, and/or use repetitive hand motions.
      • The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.
      • Occasionally lift 50 pounds.
