Position Purpose: Design, implement and maintain a knowledge management tool to extract relevant data, including program initiatives, technology solutions, outcomes, and compliance/contract related data elements. Collaborate with the RFP team and leadership to refine and improve standardized information for proposals, and provide content to build responses. Design, organize and maintain the knowledge management library, through creating and collecting new content, and reviewing and revising existing information.
Create internal workflows for maintaining and updating content. Train end users on new processes to access information. Review the system to identify functionality that need updated or enhanced.
Research information extracted from internal and external sources, and liaise with various departments to further define content, ensuring it is clearly articulated and can easily integrate into proposal responses.
Interpret and validate information and analyze the content to ensure it addresses the business unit needs and/or RFP requirements.
Develop solutions to business unit obstacles by identifying new content to include in the repository.
Liaise between the Proposal Development Center (PDC) and key functional areas to share information about current initiatives and operational and technology updates that may have a downstream impact on proposal content.
Utilize the knowledge base resources and design a training module for staff and clients to assist with the knowledge management tools.
25-40% travel Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Knowledge/Content Management or equivalent – understanding of managed care principles. 1+ years of experience categorizing and interpreting content, preferably in the healthcare industry. Understanding of managed care principles, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office products.
