      Overview

      Lovely first-time parents living in Downtown NYC are seeking a NCS to support them after the birth of their first baby. The ideal schedule will be 6-7 days per week, 10-12 hours per night, but they are flexible and are open to discussing different hours for the right candidate. The position will start at the beginning of December and last 3 months. Ideally, they would like 20/7 for the first month before shifting to nights.

      Responsibilities

      • Care of the baby in alignment with safety standards and the parents' goals
      • Establishment and management of the baby's sleep and feeding schedules
      • Guidance and education of the parents as they encounter all the firsts with their new addition
      • Light housekeeping related to the baby (laundry, bottle-washing, etc.) when time allows

      Qualifications

      • Friendly, personable, with the ability to read the room
      • Ability to take feedback

      Requirements

      • At least 5 years' verifiable experience working as a NCS
      • Experience working long-term 20/7 shifts is plus
      • US passport, Green Card or EAC
      • Up to date on Flu/RSV/TDap and MMR vaccinations
      • Available to start December 1st and commit for a 12 week contract
      • Excellent verifiable references
