- Perform deep cleaning of all household areas, ensuring impeccable standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Manage heavy laundry loads, including care for linens, delicate couture garments, and fine fabrics. Knowledge of fabric care, stain removal, and garment preservation is essential.
- occasionally help with child care for the principals grandson.
- Dinner party set up and service.
- Provide evening turn-down service, maintaining a welcoming and restful environment in bedrooms.
- Assist with household organization and support general upkeep tasks as needed.
- Maintain discretion and professionalism at all times while working in a private home.
- Be available and willing to travel with the family on occasion, providing housekeeping support while traveling.
- Willingness and happiness to travel
- Love for children and want to be part of a team
- Ability to read the room- this is no a role for a someone chatty
- Driving would be a major plus
- Proven experience in high-end residential housekeeping or similar professional setting.
- Excellent knowledge of cleaning techniques, fabric care, and laundry best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a pristine environment.
- Flexibility in schedule and ability to adapt to changing needs.
- MUST be able to work weekends and live-in
- $1800 for Thursday- Monday plus FULL Health, PTO
Overview
A busy return British American client is searching for a fantastic live-in housekeeper to join their home. The role is Thursday to Monday from 8 am to 5 pm. The role will mainly be based in NYC but travel to the Hampton's and Florida is included as needed.
