      Overview

      New parents on the Upper West Side are searching for a newborn care specialist to help with the care of their 10 week old. The role is Sunday through Friday from 8pm until 8am. This will last for 4 to 6 weeks. There is a twin bed available for the NCS to rest.

      Responsibilities

      • The family is in a great schedule and are looking for someone to carry out their current routine
      • All newborn care related duties (feeding, diapering, re-stocking the nursery, cleaning/sanitizing bottles, baby's laundry, cleaning up after baby, etc.)
      • Helping carry out current sleep routines
      • Overseeing developmental milestones
      • Reading to baby
      • Engaging with/playing with baby

      Qualifications

      • Friendly and personable with the ability to read the room.
      • Calm demeanor, who can fit into a laid-back and relaxed household
      • Hands-on and resourceful but also knows when to give the family space
      • Will follow out the parents wishes

      Requirements

      • At least 8 years of verifiable experience working as a newborn care specialist
      • Willing to follow parents wishes
      • Up to date on Flu/RSV/TDap and MMR vaccinations
      • First Aid and CPR certified, or willing to certify before employment begins
      • Available to commit for the entire placement
      • Excellent verifiable references

      Salary and Benefits

      • $45++/hour - you will be asked to input your daily rate upon applying, the family are open
