Overview

A warm family of 5 in Sacramento, CA, is seeking 2 ROTA career nannies for their 3 children, aged 4, 2 and 1, starting ASAP. The schedule will be 1 week on/off, and private accommodation will be provided to candidates on duty only. Fly-in/ fly-out is an option, but the family are prioritizing those candidates who are based in CA at this time.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care for the children, ensuring safety and well-being at all times
• All typical nursery duties will apply - keeping play areas tidy, keeping on top of supplies, removing old toys/ wardrobe items that no longer fit etc.
• Design a schedule of activities (inside and outside the home) that foster creativity, help the children master fine and gross motor skills, language, numbers etc.
• Simple, healthy food prep
• Travel both domestically and internationally with the family, when required

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years' verifiable experience with multiples
• Must have a clean driving record and current driving license/ be comfortable driving the family’s car for school drop off/ pick up etc.
• Should ideally have an educational background in Child Development/ ECE or other relevant field
• Former teachers, Educators, Governesses and seasoned candidates with decades of relevant experience, superlative references and longevity are also welcome to apply
• Additional skills, such as languages, the ability to play a musical instrument, or specific sports, etc. are highly desirable

Requirements

• US passport, Green Card or EAC
• Be warm and nurturing, with a respectful and adaptable demeanor
• Be calm, low-key, polished, and supremely organized and proactive
• Be able to read the room - know when to step up and step back when the family are having intimate family moments
• Candidates must be CPR/First Aid certified and be non-smokers
• Candidates must be passport ready/be willing and excited to travel both domestically and internationally
• Must be Trustline registered (or willing to register ASAP)
• Must be up to date on MMR vaccination

Salary and Benefits

• $120k-145k DOE + healthcare and industry standard benefits
